After months of beta testing, MIUI 12 stable updates are finally rolling out to global users, starting with owners of Mi 9 and Redmi K20 Pro/ Mi 9T Pro.

It is important to note that these are the final MIUI 12 Global updates, different from MIUI 12 Global Stable beta updates that were previously rolled out to selected Xiaomi users who participated in the Mi Pilot program.

Xiaomi announced MIUI 12 globally back in April, a few weeks after revealing it in China. The update comes with several new features such as a revamped control center, new system animations, Super Wallapaper, App behavior records for privacy, and a lot more.

For now, the update for Mi 9 is rolling out only in Europe. Meanwhile, the MIUI 12 update for Redmi K20 Pro has begun rolling out globally.

Xiaomi is yet to issue the stable updates for Redmi K20/ Mi 9T, which is the last device left in Phase I of the MIUI 12 roll-out schedule. However, we are hoping that it would begin in the next few days.

If you are Mi 9 and Mi 9T Pro user and tired of waiting, you can install the update manually by following the steps mentioned in this article.
