Guerrilla Games announced Horizon Forbidden West in June 2020. The sequel to 2017’s critically acclaimed game, Horizon Zero Dawn, is one of the most-awaited video games right now. Platforms: Will Horizon Forbidden West Be On PS4?

Sonya and Guerrilla Games confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West would arrive for both PS4 and PS4. So, PS4 players won’t have to switch to PS5 to enjoy the sequel of one of the best PlayStation exclusive titles.

Interestingly, according to the developers, Horizon Forbidden West will make full utilization of PS5’s SSD to get rid of loading screens. So, the game will start as soon as you boot the game. Also, you won’t have to wait when you fast travel from one checkpoint to another.

Talking about platforms, we won’t see Horizon Zero Dawn 2 on PC right away. Initially, the developers will focus on releasing the game only for PS4 and PS5. However, maybe after a few years, devs will port the sequel to PC.

Story

Right now, there isn’t much information on Horizon Forbidden West’s story. However, the story of Horizon Forbidden West will start where the first game left off. According to the game’s description, Aloy will move West to a far-future America. In her journey, she’ll have to go against that one threat that could make things “worse.”

As showcased in the trailer, our hero will explore the oceans and deserts in Horizon Forbidden West. So, it’s quite obvious that players will get the underwater experience in the sequel. There, players can unlock buried secrets and mysteries that might help Aloy in her quest. Moreover, Aloy will go against majestic machines and enemies while exploring the strange and beautiful world.

There are some rumors that, unlike the first game, Horizon Zero Dawn 2 will feature Co-op. However, there is still no confirmation that Horizon Forbidden West will be multiplayer.

Pre-Order
