Electric car maker Tesla has finished building its largest supercharging station in the world. The station has a capacity of 56 V3 superchargers. Similar to how superchargers fast charge EVs, Tesla built this station with superspeed.
Back in mid-September, we reported on Tesla constructing this massive supercharging station in California. At the time, the project didn’t even seem half-way completed. Now, within two months, it’s finished and ready to use.
We have to say, the pace with which Tesla and its team completed the work is admirable.
Tesla Opens World’s Largest Supercharging Station
Recently, Tesla Owners East Bay on Twitter shared the image of this supercharging station through their account. As we can see, in addition to the superchargers, Tesla built a solar roof right above the superchargers. This will facilitate in powering the superchargers as well as provide shade to the users.
Apart from this, there is a super store and a restaurant at the station for users.
As we mentioned in our previous article, this supercharging station is almost six times bigger than the average station in U.S.
Tesla already few supercharging stations with around 50 chargers in China. However, 56 V3 superchargers is a new record world record.
Tesla is the largest EV maker in the world and if we talk about U.S only, then it has the largest supercharging network. Tesla already have an impressive charging network through out the country.
However, the pace with which number of electric cars is increasing, people will need more and better superchargers. It seems Tesla is planning right according to the future and also it’s incorporating solar roofs which seems an impressive idea.
