You Can Now Pin Android Notifications In Windows 10 Your Phone App

Adding more features to the Your Phone app, Microsoft has introduced a new notification pinning option that puts important notifications at the top. The feature is rolling out as part of the Windows 10 Preview Build 20221 announced on Wednesday.

For the uninitiated, the Your Phone app can already pull notifications from Android devices. It even allows users to reply to text notifications from messaging apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.

To use the notifications pinning feature, go to the Notifications section in the Your Phone app. There, click on the three-dot menu button present on the right side of a notification. Then, click on the ‘Pin notification’ option.

Microsoft says that the notification pinning feature is rolling out gradually, and it will take a few days for the feature to arrive for all the Dev Channel users.

Support for notifications in the Your Phone app has been a great addon for the users. In fact, most users simply check their smartphones just to see if there is some notification or not. But having Android notifications land automatically on our PCs is a big relief.

Apart from this, Microsoft has also added a new Meet Now feature to Windows 10 insider preview. The feature allows users to set up Skype video calls in a couple of clicks using the Meet Now button in the Taskbar Notifications tray.
