Offensive Security released Kali Linux 2018.4, the fourth and last snapshot in 2018 for their ethical hacking and penetration testing GNU/Linux distribution, the successor of BackTrack Linux.Since there won't be any new snapshot released in 2018, Kali Linux 2018.4 packs several updated hacking tools, including Binwalk, Burp Suite, Faraday, Fern-Wifi-Cracker, Gobuster, Patator, RSMangler, theHarvester, WPScan, and others, as well as a new tool, namely the well-known, open-source WireGuard secure VPN tunnel.
"We have only added one new tool to the distribution in this release cycle but it’s a great one," reads the announcement. "Wireguard is a powerful and easy to configure VPN solution that eliminates many of the headaches one typically encounters setting up VPNs.
