The development team behind the newest Ubuntu Linux flavor build around the lightweight Budgie desktop environment produced by the Solus Project, Ubuntu Budgie, published an informative newsletter about the latest news of the project.
As you might know, Ubuntu Budgie was previously known as budgie-remix. It still is and will still be named budgie-remix for users who have the 16.04 and 16.10 releases of the Ubuntu-based operating system installed on their personal computers, but the team is hard at work these days to rename the entire project to the new Ubuntu Budgie name.
Therefore, these renaming efforts will be available only as part of the upcoming Ubuntu Budgie 17.04 distribution, which will be the project's first official release as part of the Ubuntu Linux ecosystem.
