Today, December 29, 2016, the development team behind the KDevelop open-source, free and multiplatform IDE (Integrated Development Environment) software proudly announced the release of the first Beta build of the upcoming KDevelop 5.1 release.
The current stable branch of the application is 5.0.x, and it's already at its third maintenance update, but it looks like the next major version, namely KDevelop 5.1, is open for development. KDevelop 5.1 Beta 1 is now available for public testing (download links are at the end of the article) and promises great new features.
