The fourth maintenance update to the Enlightenment DR 0.21 stable series of the lightweight, modern, and open-source window manager and desktop environment for GNU/Linux distributions has been released on the last day of November 2016.As expected, Enlightenment 0.21.4 is a bugfix release that addresses numerous of the issues reported by users since the previous maintenance update, namely Enlightenment 0.21.3, which was released more than a month and a half ago, in an attempt to further improve the overall stability of the desktop environment.
"This is another bugfix and stability release for the Enlightenment 21 Release series. It addresses a number of issues as listed below. While there has been many changes since the last release most changes are related to Bryce and Wayland as such they won't affect most users," said Simon Lees in the release announcement.
