A new development release of the popular, open-source and cross-platform Wine free implementation of Windows on Unix solution has been announced on October 28, 2016, versioned 1.9.22.Coming two weeks after the release of the previous version, namely Wine 1.9.21, the Wine 1.9.22 update is here to add even more improvements to the upcoming HID support, improve the WebServices implementation, adds experimental bitmap rendering in Direct2D, and adapts the macOS clipboard support to the new design.
