4MLinux developer Zbigniew Konojacki informs Softpedia today, October 26, 2016, about the release and immediate availability of version 20.0 of his server-oriented TheSSS (The Smallest Server Suite) GNU/Linux distribution.
Based on the upcoming 4MLinux 20.0 operating system, due for release in the first week of November 2016, TheSSS 20.0 is now available for those who want a lightweight server suite in a Live CD they can use virtually anywhere, independent of the OS installed on the target computer.
TheSSS 20.0 is powered by a kernel from the long-term supported Linux 4.4 series, version 4.4.17 at the moment of writing this article, and ships with various up-to-date server related components, including the Apache 2.4.23 web server, MariaDB 10.1.18 database server, as well as PHP 5.6.27 server-side HTML embedded scripting language.
