The second stable point release of the major Kodi 17 "Krypton" open-source and cross-platform media center was launched the other day, on May 24, 2017, but it was missing some binary add-ons, so Martijn Kaijser announced today Kodi 17.3.
While Kodi 17.3 is a minor update adding the missing binary add-ons like PVR, Inputstream and visualisation, as well as addressing a crash that occurred on older operating systems using the GCC 4.8 compiler, such as Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr), Kodi 17.2 is a major milestone patching a critical security vulnerability.
