Fedora Platform and Program Manager Jan Kurik informed today the Fedora Linux community about the fact that the upcoming Fedora 26 Beta milestone has been delayed for one week due to various blocker bugs and other issues.
Fedora 26 Beta was already delayed three times, and was expected to land next week, on May 30, but it was now rescheduled for the first week of June, on the 6th. This change will also affect the final release of the Fedora 26 operating system, which will hit the streets on July 4, 2017.
"Release status of the Fedora 26 Beta is NO-GO. Due to missing RC of Fedora 26 Beta release and presence of blocker bugs we are delaying release of Fedora 26 Beta for one week," said Jan Kurik. "There is going to be one more Go/No-Go meeting the next Thursday, June 1st, 2017 at 17:00 UTC to verify we are ready for the release."
