Just one day after the launch of the Tails 2.12 maintenance release to the Tails 2.x stable series of the amnesic incognito live system based on Debian GNU/Linux, the development is pleased to announce the release of the fourth Beta of Tails 3.0.Coming exactly one month after the third Beta milestone, Tails 3.0 Beta 4 is here with all the latest and most important security updates and bug fixes ported from the repositories of the upcoming Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch" operating system. It also includes all the changes implemented in the Tails 2.12 release.
"The fourth Beta for the upcoming version 3.0 is out. We are very excited and cannot wait to hear what you think about it. Tails 3.0 will be the first version of Tails based on Debian 9 (Stretch). As such, it upgrades essentially all included software. We will provide security updates for Tails 3.0~beta4," reads today's announcement.
