Rapid Photo Downloader 0.9 Enters Beta, Adds Support for openSUSE and Fedora

Rapid Photo Downloader developer Damon Lynch announced this past weekend the release of the first Beta build of the upcoming Rapid Photo Downloader 0.9 series of the open-source and free photo and video downloader for Linux PCs.

Rapid Photo Downloader 0.9 will be the next major release of the application developed by a photographer for amateur and professional photographers alike. The new series has been in development for the past one a half years, during which it received an Alpha milestone approximately eleven months ago.

As expected, the developer prepares a bunch of new features for the upcoming version of Rapid Photo Downloader, and the one that was highlighted in the Beta announcement is an error report dialog whose purpose is to notify users about various issues that occur during transfers.
