The development team behind the Debian-based Parsix GNU/Linux operating system series announced recently the availability of a new kernel and latest security updates in the official repositories of the Nev (8.15) release.
Parsix GNU/Linux devs regularly backport the newest security fixes released upstream in the software repos of Debian GNU/Linux 8 "Jessie" operating system series, on which Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15(Nev) is based, offering users the same level of security, compatibility with newer devices, and reliability.
"Parsix Developers closely follow Debian Security Advisories and port them to our own security repository. Right now we are offering security support for both of our stable and testing branches. Parsix Continent repository is also fully supported by security updates," reads the security page of Parsix GNU/Linux.
Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15 is now powered by Linux kernel 4.4.59 LTS
