OpenShot developer Jonathan Thomas was pleased to announce the release of version 2.3 of the popular, open-source, and cross-platform video editor software.
According to the developer, OpenShot 2.3 is the biggest update ever to the video editor application, which introduces numerous improvements and bug fixes. Prominent new features included in this release are brand-new transform tool for creating real-time transformations in the video preview window, as well as the razor tool, which finally makes a comeback after being removed a long time ago.
"Back by popular demand, the razor tool from OpenShot 1.4.3 has returned from the dead," reads the announcement. "Click on the Razor toolbar button to switch to razor mode.
