At It’s FOSS we used to randomly donate to various open source projects and charity in the past. However, after introducing the It’s FOSS Shop, this routine has been changed.
Last month, we started the monthly It’s FOSS donation program. Under this program, we will be donating 25% of the earnings generated by our affiliate It’s FOSS Shop to one open source project. And good thing is that you, It’s FOSS reader, will decide who gets the donation each month.
In the month of July, It’s FOSS Shop earned $284.84. Which means $71.21 goes to donation. I’ll round it off to $72.
I asked for suggestions on which Open Source projects should we donate to this month on Twitter and Google Plus. Based on the suggestions, here is the list of candidates for this month of donation round. Project that gets the most number of votes, will get the $72 donation.
Now, it’s time to vote for your favorite open source project and help it win this month’s donation round. Voting will be open till 8th August. What are you waiting for? Use your democratic right to vote :)
