Tata Motors has reported year-over-year growth of 162% in sales for September. The automaker sold over 21,000 vehicles in September 2020, compared to 8,097 cars sold in September 2019.
This is the highest sales figure the Indian automaker has achieved since October 2012. With this, Tata Motors is currently the third largest automaker in the country.

As you can see, the total difference in sales is nearly 162%. All the cars have shown tremendous growth; however, Tiago and Nexon turn out to be the best selling cars of the Indian automaker. What impressed the most is Tata Altroz – the newest member of the Tata family whose numbers are very close to Nexon.

What Pushed The Sales Of Tata Motors In Recent Times?
Tata Motors has improved its cars significantly in the past few years. The company has replaced its entire line-up and included new cars. The automaker has built its reputation for producing the safest cars in the country. Even the entry-level car Tata Tiago holds a safety rating of four stars in the global NCAP crash test.
In terms of safety, Tata Motors has the most number of cars among the list of safest cars in India.

Not only this, but the automaker has significantly improved its cars in other segments as well. Tata Motors has refined its engines, improved the build quality of cars, and worked on its service sector.
Tata is still providing a diesel engine option when Maruti Suzuki has discontinued its diesel engines. Finally, it’s an Indian brand, and nowadays, the masses want to own the local product.
