Android 11 Smartphone List: When Will My Device Get Android 11?

Google has finally launched Android 11 stable version after months of beta testing.

The latest Android version comes with several features including a new Conversation section within the notification shade, new permissions, in-build screen recorder, Facebook Messenger like chat heads aka Bubbles, revamped Power menu, and a lot more.

When will my device get Android 11?

Of course, many aren’t getting their hands on Android 11 right away, at least not for the first four to six months, I presume. Only 8.2% Android users from all over the world are running Android 10 as of April 2020, so you can imagine how long it will take before the latest Android version lands on your device.

That being said, it goes without saying devices that were part of the Google Beta program will be the first to receive the update. The Android update situation overall has also improved, thanks to Google’s Project Treble program and more Android One devices in the smartphone market.

I can’t say the same for Chinese OEMs as they are known for taking their time. Their update process generally lasts for the entire year. Just to give you an idea, Oppo’s ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 is still in the roll-out stage.

Before we move forward, note that Huawei devices won’t be getting the Android 11 update due to Huawei’s US ban.

With this out of the way, let’s look at the Android 11 update mobile list —

Here are all the devices that have either received or confirmed to get the Android 11 update. We will be continuously updating this article as soon as we see any new official announcements.

The Google Pixel series was the first to receive the Android 11 stable update. Most Pixel devices have already received the Android 11 OTA update except the Google Pixel and Pixel XL. In other words, the original Pixel won’t be getting an Android update this time.

The Chinese smartphone maker was part of the Google Beta program. In September, it revealed the first batch of devices who will receive MIUI 12 updates based on Android 11. The list is small, however it will hopefully grow once Xiaomi finishes issuing MIUI 12 updates to all supported devices.

On the other hand, the company has already started working on MIUI 13, the next big update to its Android skin.

HydrogenOS 11 (based on Android 11) public beta is already out for OnePlus 8 series. For those who don’t know, OnePlus has a parallel Android skin known as HydrogenOS, which is exclusively available to OnePlus users in China.
