Canonical launched the third point release of the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system series, Ubuntu 16.04.3, which brings updated kernel and graphics stacks.Powered by the Linux 4.10 kernel and Mesa 17.0 graphics stack from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus), Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS is here for those who want to install the long-term supported Xenial Xerus series of operating systems on new computers which were or weren't supported by Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS or a previous point release. However, Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS doesn't ship with support for 32-bit PPC architectures.
