Canonical's Olivier Tilloy reports today on the availability of an updated version of the LibreOffice Snap package for Ubuntu Linux and other Snappy-enabled distributions.
The LibreOffice Snap created by Canonical has been updated to version 5.3.4.2, based on the latest LibreOffice 5.3.4 point release announced last week. While the new LibreOffice 5.3.4 Snap was already published in the Snappy Store, it resides in the Beta channel as it hasn't been tested enough.
"An updated version of the LibreOffice Snap was published earlier today in the Snap Store (beta channel). If you are using the Snap already, or if you feel like testing it, now is the time to upgrade to that version (5.3.4.2) and let us know if you find issues with it," says Olivier Tilloy, Engineer at Canonical.
