GNOME Project's Michael Catanzaro sent us an email earlier today to inform us about the general availability of the second development snapshot of the upcoming GNOME 3.24 desktop environment for Linux-based operating systems.
Now that the release cycle of the current stable version, GNOME 3.22, has ended two weeks ago with the announcement of the second and last scheduled maintenance update, versioned 3.22.2, the GNOME developers can now concentrate all of their efforts on the development of GNOME 3.24, which will hit the streets next year on March 22.
