Today, November 9, 2016, the developers of the Q4OS GNU/Linux distribution were pleased to inform Softpedia about the release and immediate availability of the Q4OS 1.8 "Orion" release.For those who never heard of Q4OS, it's an open-source and free Linux-based computer operating system built around the Trinity Desktop Environment (TDE), a unique initiative to keep the spirit of the old-school KDE 3.5 desktop alive. The stable Q4OS branch is currently based on the Debian GNU/Linux 8 "Jessie" distribution.
