Q4OS 1.8 "Orion" GNU/Linux Distro Ships with Brand New Trinity 14.0.4 Desktop

Today, November 9, 2016, the developers of the Q4OS GNU/Linux distribution were pleased to inform Softpedia about the release and immediate availability of the Q4OS 1.8 "Orion" release.

For those who never heard of Q4OS, it's an open-source and free Linux-based computer operating system built around the Trinity Desktop Environment (TDE), a unique initiative to keep the spirit of the old-school KDE 3.5 desktop alive. The stable Q4OS branch is currently based on the Debian GNU/Linux 8 "Jessie" distribution.

And now, Q4OS 1.8 "Orion" is the latest and most advanced version of the GNU/Linux distro that targets both experienced and new users who want to use the newest Debian technologies from the Debian Jessie 8.6 release in combination with the brand new 14.0.4 version of the Trinity desktop environment.
